Test Plan Return with New Single and Surreal Music Video for ‘My Teeth’

A frenzied collision of dance-punk and noise-rock, ‘My Teeth’ marks a new chapter for test plan as they gear up for their U.S. debut and European tour.

London’s dance-punk trio test plan are back with their latest single, ‘My Teeth’, out February 28. A staple of their high-energy live shows, the track channels the band’s signature blend of hypnotic guitars, growling bass, and delirious vocals - perfectly encapsulating their ethos of landing “somewhere between dancing and moshing.”

Written and recorded in their North London rehearsal space with producer Darren Jones (Fat Dog, Gorillaz), ‘My Teeth’ tells the story of a religious figure unraveling - losing their grip, their sanity, and, ultimately, their teeth. The single drops ahead of the band’s debut U.S. trip for New York’s New Colossus Festival and a European tour in May.

True to their DIY roots, test plan have paired the single with a chaotic, surrealist music video, directed by drummer/vocalist Max Mason. Drawing inspiration from David Lynch, Gaspar Noé, and Michel Gondry, the video blends religious imagery and dream logic into what the band calls “a surrealist collage chronicling a tooth having a very bad day.” Featuring contributions from close friends - including members of For Breakfast, DAAY, Burden Limbs, and Black Bordello - the ambitious video highlights the community-driven spirit at the heart of test plan’s work.
