Justice Return With First Album In 8 Years

Share two new singles ‘Generator’ and ‘One Night/All Night’ featuring Kevin Parker.

In a thrilling announcement, the iconic electronic duo Justice has revealed the release date for their highly anticipated fourth album Hyperdrama. Set to be released on April 26th, the album will be released via Ed Banger Records / Because Music and will be available for digital streaming and download. Physical copies will include CD, double black vinyl, limited edition double crystal clear vinyl, and a limited edition double picture disc vinyl.

To offer fans a taste of what's to come, Justice has simultaneously dropped two electrifying singles from the upcoming album: ‘One Night/All Night starring Tame Impala’ and ‘Generator.’

Describing the inspiration behind ‘One Night/All Night starring Tame Impala’ Justice states “We wanted this track to sound as if a dark/techno iteration of Justice had found a sample of a disco iteration of Kevin Parker. Kevin has a sense of melody that’s fascinating in the sense that he manages to write melodies that feel both simple and natural, but very peculiar at the same time. This song oscillates between pure electronic music and pure disco but you never really get the two at the same time. This very idea of switching instantly from a genre to another within a song runs through the whole record, and is maybe showcased the clearest in ‘One Night/All Night”

In the case of ‘Generator’ Justice adds “To us, this one sounds like “Getaway” by the Salsoul Orchestra, but with gabber and classic 90s hardcore techno sounds. Disco/funk and electronic music at large have always been core elements of the music we make as Justice. In ‘Hyperdrama’, we make them coexist, but not in a peaceful way. We like this idea of making them fight a bit for attention.”

Accompanying the release of "One Night/All Night starring Tame Impala" is an arresting official video directed by Anton Tammi. The visually captivating journey inside the cross, described by Tammi as "rave lighting inside human lungs and strobe light around a human heart," provides an intriguing glimpse into the forthcoming album's artwork.

Justice enthusiasts can catch the duo live at various upcoming festivals, including Coachella, Festival Vaivén in Mexico, Primavera Sound in Spain, and more. The announcement of their Coachella performance also hinted at the debut of a new live show, adding an extra layer of excitement for fans.
