Fat White Family Announce New Album: Forgiveness Is Yours

British cult sensations Fat White Family has officially announced the details of their highly anticipated fourth album, Forgiveness Is Yours scheduled to hit the shelves on April 26th, through the renowned Domino Records.

The South London band, known for their eclectic and daring music, has described their latest work as the most sophisticated, vital, and flamboyant creation of their career. The album, a culmination of their creative talent, has pushed the band to the limits of their health, sanity, and existence.

Accompanying the album announcement is the release of a vibrant and exuberant music video for their new single ‘Bullet Of Dignity.’ Directed by Niall Trask, the video pays homage to image creators Pierre & Gilles, Pierre Commoy, and Gilles Blanchard. Lead singer Lias Saoudi reflects on Forgiveness Is Yours stating that it delves into the concept of life as eternal contingency. He adds, "It's about no longer suspecting, but knowing that this [life] will never get any easier." The album's eleven tracks present a sideways state-of-the-nation tirade, chronicling a time spinning wildly out of joint.

Despite facing challenges during its recording, including the departure of founding member Saul Adamczewski, the band promises an "embarrassment of delights" with this release.

"We can only take Lias at his word when he says ‘The overarching aesthetic themes at work here are torpor and further torpor still,’" notes the announcement. Forgiveness Is Yours is a testament to the will to create in the face of catastrophes and a quintessence of disenchantment born from vicious, sinister times.
