Bar Italia To Release New Album 'Tracey Denim' On May 19th

Bar Italia, the London-based trio comprising Nina Cristante, Jezmi Tarik Fehmi, and Sam Fenton, have unveiled details about their upcoming album 'Tracey Denim'. The album, which features the critically acclaimed single "Nurse!", was recorded and produced by the band and mixed by Marta Salogni. 'Tracey Denim' is set to release digitally and on CD on May 19th via Matador, with a vinyl release following on September 8th. The band is set to embark on a headline tour of the UK and Europe in May, including a sold-out album release show at London's ICA on May 25th. In addition, they have announced UK tour dates in November, which will feature a headline show at Village Underground in London on November 7th. Bar Italia will also make their US live debut in June.
The trio is scheduled to appear at various festivals this summer, including Primavera Sound Barcelona & Madrid, Latitude, Midi Festival, and End Of The Road. Check out the list of upcoming live dates below.
Over the past two years, Bar Italia has released two albums, an EP, and several singles on Dean Blunt's World Music label. Their unique sound has led to much word-of-mouth, resulting in sold-out headline shows and festival performances at Pitchfork Music Festival London, by:Larm, OUT.FEST, Le Guess Who?, and End Of The Road.
