Arctic Monkeys Share First Taste Of The Follow Up To Fan-Dividing Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino.

For most Arctic Monkey’s fans Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino was a shock to the system. A complete shift in sound compared to AM the album that preceded it. With their new single ‘There’d Better Be A Mirrorball’ we return to the soulful sounds of Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino but with a more grounded and cinematic approach. The new single is the first to be shared of ten brand-new songs written by Alex Turner and produced by James Ford that are included on the band's seventh studio album, The Car. Turner’s voice over the past few years seems to have aged like a fine wine, delivering some of the richest and most satisfying vocal performances of his career.

The new single sees frontman Alex Turner taking the wheel behind the camera, serving as director.
