For the efforts of Henry Spychalski,  Duc Peterman, Nico Mohnblatt, Achilleas Sarantaris and keyboardist Seth Evans, this album is something to be lamented on; deserving to be talked in the highest of praises and for its imagery and world building, dissected to death.

SCARING THE HOES is a celebration of experimental and underground hip-hop by two of the genre’s lead pioneers. Every track features some level of chaos, and the chemistry of the duo makes the record flourish, with each artist adding their unique sounds and elements to create a wonderfully exciting listen.

Caroline Rose is a musical chameleon. New album The Art of Forgetting showcases Rose’s ability to seamlessly shift from album to album, like a snake shedding its skin. As an artist, Rose is unapologetically their self, unafraid to explore themes of self-discovery and societal expectations.

Deathcrash have created a lasting emotive landscape. Still air intertwines with the instruments, creating much more than the sum of their parts. The album casts the listener deep into the floor. In this case ‘Less’ is certainly more.

With his past controversies behind him and an album that demonstrates a lot of time working on himself, he is an example for men in music who often take the opposite route of sincerity and openness in regards to controversy. Bringing in his new sense of self on this latest record, he proves that betterment doesn’t have to sound boring and straight line.
