Six Of The Sexiest Artists We Can’t Wait To See At Primavera
From euphoric pop to blistering post-punk and high-intensity electronic chaos, these are some of the artists we’re excited to catch in Barcelona this summer.
Of all the festivals in all the world, its Primavera that’s caught our eyes with it’s consistently fantastic stacked line-up. Year after year, the denizens of the Europe are swarming to Barcelona to bask in the sun and listen to the years biggest winners, sporting artists still riding the high of recent success at the Brits. This year is no less attractive than the summer weeks of Primavera’s long-gone. These are some of the artists we personally can’t wait to see.
Magdelena Bay
Having witnessed their fantastic power live on stage late last year, Mag Bay are undeniably what modern pop music ought to become. Thrilling us with their sophomore album, Imaginal Disk, all in attendance could feel the ambition of the band in their championing of excellence in storytelling and production. Their accomplished glossy sound will be perfect for the ambience of the start of the Barcelona summer. The darling vocals and instrumental growth throughout their set will leave you fulfilled. They are not to be missed.
Fcukers
Formed in 2022, it’s been nothing but up for Fcukers and love placed upon their un-shout-out-able on radio name. Endlessly played in dingy pubs and hyper-electronic dance floors alike, this NYC band has been a consistent fan favourite for anyone that’s heard them on either side of the pond. Complimenting their synths with live drums and bass, they’ll turn Primavera-goer’s into animals, pairing along side the next on this list…

Brutalismus 3000
This electronic duo from Berlin have the rare effect of looking exactly how their music sounds. They’ve been described as ‘bleak, confrontational’, arguably which is what makes them so utterly irresistible. They’ll take you through a manic episode, pummelling you with fast beats and banshee screeches and whilst not evolving on the past iterations of Berlin-based hyper EDM, their amphetamine-laced energy will bring you up right when you need it.
Fontaines D.C.
Still reeling from their win at the Brits this year, Fontaines DC have proved that the raw animal magnetism of post punk can be balanced with cinematic romanticism. Watching their sound evolve has been a fulfilling and enchanting process that whilst losing them fans, has shown their growth and seriousness as artists. The people know that they are here to stay and without a doubt, the crowd will be there to prove it at Primavera.
Joy Orbison
Mixing house music, UKG, old-school jungle and dubstep, Joy Orbison found his sound before some of the other acts were born. His heart is devoted to the fight to keep m UK music production alive. He’s consistently poured his soul into releases with electronic music almost never being so tender, raw and emotional. Described as the thinking-mans club classics, it’s an utter treat that shouldn’t go unappreciated by the gathering Barcelona masses. The perfect example of all-killer, no-filler: his music vibrates the air around the speakers with shaky wonder.
FKA Twigs
To call her music simply ‘dance’ or ‘electronic’ feels akin to an insult. Her latest work Eusexua was closer to a blessing. A total visionary in her field and capable of delivering hit after hit, twigs has deconstructed rave culture and demonstrated for the masses a genre-bending flow between garage and alternative Björk-ian backing tracks. To hear this with the sun beating down on your face, surrounded by people feeling the same way, engrossed in that sensation of total bliss in the middle of a rave, don’t be surprised to find yourself entirely euphoric.
