Sara Wolff Shares New Track ‘Homesick’

Taken from the upcoming EP Magic Hour.

Liverpool-based avant-garde artist Sara Wolff is back with a second single, 'Homesick', and it's a tantalizing preview of her upcoming EP Magic Hour. This latest release is a love letter to the unconventional, diving deep into the murky waters of life's unexpected twists and turns. It's the kind of music that rocks you back and forth like a childhood seesaw, leaving you dizzy with joy and discovery.

Wolff's music is a meticulously crafted tapestry, woven with threads of whimsy and wonder. It's a journey that takes you from the pintuck ruffles of a vintage blouse to the mountaintop vistas of Norway. As she explains, "You meet yourself in the past whenever you go home, it’s like a mirror to where you once were and who you used to be. It can be so strange to see how everything changes and how nothing has changed at the same time."

With 'Homesick', Wolff has expanded her home-spun universe, weaving together a rich tapestry of sounds and influences. Her avant-garde knit-pop is a vibrant mix of rock, folk, and electronic, all held together by her intricate arrangements and soaring vocals. It's no surprise that her first single, 'Don't Feed The Birds', received support from Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music.

Since the release of her debut EP When You Left The Room, Wolff has been on a whirlwind journey of collaboration and exploration. From producing other artists to touring as a session musician, she's been honing her craft and pushing the boundaries of what's possible.

Sara Wolff’s upcoming EP Magic Hour will be released 26th May 2023.
