Oasis Announce First UK and Ireland Shows in 16 Years

Oasis finally ends their feud for a comeback, cashes in on a monumental payday, and confirms - Glastonbury is not on the agenda.

After years of anticipation, Oasis has confirmed their return to the stage with a series of highly anticipated UK and Ireland shows as part of their OASIS LIVE 25 world tour. This marks their first performances in these regions in 16 years. The band will play in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin during the summer of 2025, making these their only European shows of the year. Tickets go on sale from 9 AM on Saturday, August 31st.

This reunion promises to be one of the most significant live music events of the decade. Known for their electrifying performances, Oasis is expected to deliver a setlist full of timeless classics, with the unmistakable energy that only Liam and Noel Gallagher can bring to the stage together. Will they play for ten minutes, have a fight and then cancel all their shows? Only time will tell.

Since their split in 2009, both Gallagher brothers have achieved solo success, with ten UK #1 albums between them and numerous headline appearances at festivals, stadiums, and arenas. Yet, Oasis remains a unique cultural phenomenon. With the 30th anniversary of their groundbreaking debut album Definitely Maybe and the upcoming milestone for (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? in 2025, the timing of their reunion feels momentous.

Oasis commented on their return, stating, "The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

The OASIS LIVE 25 tour will extend beyond Europe, with plans underway for more shows on other continents later in 2025.

Oasis’s influence has only grown during their hiatus, with a new generation of fans discovering their music through streaming platforms. The band has garnered 21.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, with 12 billion streams to date. This Friday also sees the release of the Deluxe 30th Anniversary Edition of Definitely Maybe, available for pre-order now.

Tickets for the UK dates can be purchased from www.ticketmaster.co.uk, www.gigsandtours.com, and www.seetickets.com, while Dublin tickets will be available at www.ticketmaster.ie from 8 AM.
