Lael Neale Shares ‘Faster Than The Medicine’

From upcoming sophomore album Star Eaters Delight.

Lael Neale has unveiled the official video for “Faster Than The Medicine,” a track off of her upcoming album, Star Eaters Delight, which will be available worldwide on CD/LP/CS/DSPs from Sub Pop on April 21st, 2023. The song, which is driven by the drum machine of Neale’s signature Omnichord, races across an imaginary, foggy English countryside. The video is directed by Neale herself and stars her as well. She cites filmmaker Jonas Mekas as her inspiration for the video, which is a collection of moments from her quest for the mystical in the ordinary. In further support of Star Eaters Delight, Neale has expanded her international tour schedule for 2023, with new highlights in Brighton, UK, and Barcelona and Madrid, Spain.

Star Eaters Delight was written by Neale, with arrangements and production by Guy Blakeslee. The recordings were made on cassette in Virginia and mastered by Chris Coady in Los Angeles.
