Kyoto Kyoto Share Blazing New Single ‘So’ Via Blitzcat Records

Kyoto Kyoto are back with cathartic new single ‘So’.

London band Kyoto Kyoto has launched their latest single, "So," ahead of their headlining show on April 5th at The Lexington, London. The single is a powerful and unyielding call-to-arms with a tone and menace reminiscent of System Of A Down. The band points out that "'So' means 'like this' in German," and the text is about how a person's ill-considered decisions about others can have severe consequences. The band is among the loudest experimental acts in the UK, with krautrock-inspired progressive noise-rock at its most intriguing and daring. The recording process for "So" was described as "intense" by the band, and they have received support from BBC 6 Music, performed at Rotterdam's Left Of The Dial Festival, and toured with math-rock legends Tricot. Kyoto Kyoto was founded by Levent Ceylan and Scott MacDonald, and has recently added bassist Olek Nixon, flutist Gail Tasker, and cellist Annie Walton to their team.
