Grandmas House Release New Song 'How Does It Feel?'

Bristol punk-trio shares new track and announce UK tour for March 2023.

A fresh set of UK dates for March 2023 has been announced together with the release of Grandmas Houses explosive new single ‘How does it feel?’ via Brace Yourself Records (Panic Shack, Italia 90, Nuha Ruby Ra) (dates below). Sung in French and English, the song draws who draws on Yasmin Berndt's (frontperson) Belgian roots, with vocal contributions from Poppy Dodgson (vocals, percussion), and Zo Zinsmeister (bass). Propelled by a boisterous guitar sound, a pounding bassline, and forceful percussion.‘How does it feel?’ is another scorching track from one of the year's most promising new artists.

In a press release for the song, the band said of the track: "'How does it feel?' is a call and response between two people about the feelings of confusion you go through when breaking up. Sang in both French and English it is an explosion of queer angst and emotion." You can listen to the new track here and watch the video below!

Grandmas House made their debut in 2020 with the track ‘Devils Advocate.’ The trio, which is made up of three women who identify as queer and who are unapologetically feminist, came together because they "wanted a place to scream about the stuff we care about, which is why we started writing music and learning our instruments, which led to us moving in together and starting the band." Grandmas House strive to close the persistent gap of inequality and are strongly motivated and inspired by other female musicians who are doing the same.
